This is the first screen when we login..

Type Tcode "RSA1".


Modelling screen...
70 % of BI  job is done at modelling screen


In source system.. we can choose which type of source file , ex: flat file, SAP, oracle




Here we create datasource for the source file



In this screen we create infoproviders( target).

      if we store master data in info object then where do we store transaction data?

      either we load the transaction data from the flat file or we extract it from a transaction table

      we load master data and transaction data both in infoobject, infoobject is the basic unit where we store data, infoprovider is build up of infoobjects
