The open hub destination is the object that allows you to distribute data from a BI system to non-SAP data
marts, analytical applications, and other applications. It ensures controlled distribution across multiple
systems.
Now we are going to take data from 0FIAR_C30 cube to a flat file...
activate open hub
Transformation and DTP is created... now Execute DTP to pull data from Cube to Destination.
OHD come to picture when we want to export data to Non-SAP systems using APIs and a third-party tool

Hi,
ReplyDeleteLooks like you have used the info cube (BW - source ) as template and transferred the data to the target (flat file). How would the scenario differ if we/you have not used Infocube as template. In the sense that, data source creation for the info cube (SAP source system )?? Talking of this one more question pops up in my mind that is SAP source system different from SAP BW system as a source? Please clarify. I understand that data source for a NON SAP source system is created within BW system, but data source for a SAP system cannot be created within a BW system but has to be created within SAP souce systems only.
Hi..
DeleteI Used Infocube template for my ease... there is no difference in creating OHD .. whether you use Template Infocube or Customized cube..
Thank you!
