Step 1: BI system
TCODE - SU01
create 2 users
ALEREMOTE and BIUSER with SAP_ALL profile
Make sure you have SAP all authorization to this back ground user.
As stated, create one more user BIUSER, with the same credentials as user ALEREMOTE.
Step 2: ECC system
TCODE - SU01
Create ALEREMOTE user in ECC system
Step 3 :BI system
TCODE - SALE
Define logical system and Assign logical system
Define logical system as BICLNT001 and press SAVE
Note: As a best practice follow the naming convention for
logical system name as <System ID>CLNT<Client Number>
Step 4: BI System
TCODE - RSA1
Step 5: BI System
TCODE - RSA1
Right Click on source system i.e. SAP system and press Create.
On pressing enter in above step, it will connect to the source system.
With this step, you will establish the connection between SAP Sources Systems with SAP BW.
