Creating Dashboards in SAC(SAP Analytic Cloud)

Lets try to build a Dashboard from scratch.



Our aim is to build this dashboard with sales analysis.



  Create--> Story





Select Dashboard



We have a blank dashboard space to build from scratch .

and also we have some templates to build dashboard.



if we choose templates, we can add measures and dimensions by simply clicking on  +  button.


For now, lets get back to our blank dashboard space.


Connect a Datamodel or Datasource.




Can change the title by simply typing over it.



to add charts click on "insert"


In the designer mode, we have 2 options.

* builder

* styler

In builder, we can choose the type of chart and also mention the measures and dimensions needed in the chart.

In styler, we can format the font, color, and style of the chart.






In the styling option choose back color and other stylings for chart.

Now we can drag and adjust the chart as per our need and position it.



If we want similar charts, we can duplicate the existing charts.


Now change the measures in the builder section.



Now lets add few graphical charts.

Click insert chart.


I have added a pie chart with gross margin per product.

now position it on the dashboard.




Added one more chart with Gross margin per store.


We can add as many charts as needed and position as we wish.


This is the final dashboard we designed.
