On the instance overview screen, we now use:
Open → Sign in to the Instance
When the HANA Cloud instance was created, SAP automatically created:
-
A database administrator user
-
Credentials stored securely by SAP
These credentials are not your BTP user ID.
They belong to the database, not the platform.
We can reset the password from here.
Now login to the database.
This is the first time we are inside the SAP HANA Cloud database.
Till now, everything we did was at the BTP admin level — creating subaccounts, environments, entitlements, subscriptions, and instances.
On this screen, we can see:
-
Memory usage of the database
-
Compute and storage consumption
-
Basic workload and activity information
